Subjects Covered

This class will teach you everything you need to know about creating broadcast graphics for sports, news and school programs. It is well suited to professional 3D artists and novices alike, and you do not need prior knowledge of LightWave 3D or Photoshop to achieve practical results. The training is hands-on, and we provide all software and equipment needed during the class.

We started with the basic Demo Studio set:

The client wanted to customize the virtual set with their school logo and mascot:

We composited the mascot image with the backdrop (minus the map) and converted the logo into a 3D model attached to the front of the desk.

Class Details

The class is broken into two sessions lasting approximately 3 hours with a 1 hour lunch break between. Each session also has a 15 minute break for refreshments, review and Q/A. Formal instruction ends at 4:00, but additional subjects may be covered until 6:00 if there are specific requests from attendees.

Our training room is designed to accommodate 4-8 attendees. Amitrace reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes that have less than the minimum attendence, but we will notify registered attendees of any schedule changes at least two weeks prior to a scheduled event. If a class is canceled, registered attendees may either transfer to a later date free of charge or ask for a full refund up to one week before the originally scheduled class. No refunds will be given past the one week threshold.
