Whether you are a video novice or a seasoned professional, this course will get you up to speed quickly so you can use VT[5] to its full potential, and it affords a significant savings over taking the included classes separately.

Subjects Covered

The first day (VT[5] Live Production) covers graphics creation, chroma-keying, virtual sets, live switching, audio mixing, clip playback, internet streaming, video capture, and everything else you need to become an expert VT[5] video producer. We go in depth with all of the new accessories that work with VT[5] Switcher, such as LiveText, LiveControl and TimeWarp.

The Second day (VT[5] and SpeedEDIT Editing) covers video capture, trimming, filters, transitions, audio mixing, photo montages, layering, graphics, and more. We discuss working with different file formats and resolutions, encoding projects for DVD production, and integrating post-produced elements with the live production workflow.

Course Details

Each class is broken into two sessions lasting approximately 3 hours with a 1 hour lunch break between. Each session also has a 15 minute break for refreshments, review and Q/A. Formal instruction ends at 4:00, but additional subjects may be covered until 5:00 if there are specific requests from attendees.

Our training room is designed to accommodate 4-8 attendees. Amitrace reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes that have less than the minimum attendence, but we will notify registered attendees of any schedule changes at least two weeks prior to a scheduled event. If a class is canceled, registered attendees may either transfer to a later date free of charge or ask for a full refund up to one week before the originally scheduled class. No refunds will be given past the one week threshold.
