Note: NewTek academic products carry extremely specific purchase requirements, and proper documentation is required before an academic order may be placed. To qualify for an academic purchase you must either be an authorized buyer for an accredited educational institution, a professor teaching at an accredited institution, or a student attending at least 6 credit hours of a class in a qualified NewTek vertical market. Institutions may simply fax a signed purchase order. Professors are required to provide a copy of their professor's ID and their pay slip (with numbers blackened). Product Details
This system is great for schools that are starting a new video production program or video club with high end capabilities such as virtual sets. All of the basic video and audio gear is included for a two camera studio, but you will need to add video furniture and a laptop to run the teleprompter software. This system can support up to 3 standard video sources (cameras, DVD players, or tape decks), 1 high resolution computer source (PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.), 6 microphones and 4 stereo audio sources (CD players, iPods, etc.), and the system will accept component (YUV), s-video (Y/C) or composite video connections. A MiniDV deck and DVD recorder are included for mastering, but you can also record directly to the internal hard disk in a high bitrate full resolution MPEG-2 format. This system can simultaneously record full resolution MPEG-2 and stream live video to the internet or save archived web streams in WindowsMedia or Flash format.
